Work related Injuries
Our experience indicates that employers are most concerned with high medical costs, prolonged disability, waiting long times in the doctors office to be seen, and lack of communication regarding the injured worker. Nebraska Orthopaedic Associates is dedicated to providing efficient, high quality orthopaedic medical care in the most efficient manner possible to employers and their injured workers. We are able to respond quickly to questions from employers, case managers at the time of injury when a change of condition has occurred. Our fully qualified physicians and staff are available on the premises during regular office hours.

Return to Work
Our first obligation is to ensure that the injured employee receives an accurate assessment and evaluation coupled with immediate, early intervention and the best possible medical care. We understand that loss of time and disability is a large expense to the employer. Our focus begins at the moment of injury. Early return to work, as soon as medically possible, is the goal whether it is full, modified or limited capacity. Our pre- and post- treatment plan is restricted to only those procedures and modalities necessary to return an employee to full duty or normal capacity as quickly as possible.

Communication and Notification
Nebraska Orthopaedic Associates, LLP staff will notify an employer, upon request, of the status of any injured worker as soon as possible after their referral to Nebraska Orthopaedic Associates, LLP. A complete report of findings, which includes the preparation of a Doctor’s First Report, will be filed within the appropriate guidelines and forwarded to both the work comp case manager or employer. On-going status of the worker’s condition is monitored to provide current, accurate information to the employer and their work comp carrier.
