you have provided to K. over the last couple of years. A fractured
tibia, femur with stubborn wound healing and pelvis fracture were more
than one person should endure. Through it all, you were encouraging and

clinic were always pleasant because they were timely, the staff was

Dear Dr. Burt,
Thank you for your excellent care during our time at Nebraska Orthopedic
Associates. We are very pleased with the outcome of my surgeries. After
overcoming my bone disease, osteochondritis dissecans, (OCD), I can now
compete to my fullest potential without pain. I am very grateful for
the attentive care and patience from staff and surgery crew. I am
fortunate that I was referred to you and your hospital. Even though
Omaha is about three hours from where I live, it was well worth the
drive in order to be taken care of by one of the best orthopedic doctors
in the state.
You have changed the course of my life and created a huge impact on
my well-being. I was skeptical about how things would turn out. But
after recovery, I realized pain was not an issue while being active.
Starting right into two-a-day football practices, I was able to compete
at a high level. By our fourth game I got back into my rhythm and
started both sides on offense and defense. This was the same game I
received MVP of the week.
I am currently playing basketball. I start as a guard. None of this
would have been possible if it wasn’t for you. I will always remember my
stay at Nebraska Orthopedic Hospital, not just because of my scars, but
also my positive experience. I thank you again for your outstanding
work and my results.

Dr. Burt,
Without your quick diagnosis and skilled hands, I would not have gotten
the opportunity to finish what I had started on the women’s UNO track
and field team.
I want to thank you for what you did for me. You gave me the courage

new journey in medical imaging at Nebraska Methodist College.
