Steven X. Goebel, MD
A member of the NebOrtho orthopaedic surgery team since 2002, Dr. Steven Goebel specializes in sports-related injuries, joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, general orthopaedics and fracture care. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center and his residency and internship at the University of Cincinnati. He graduated with honors from Creighton University School of Medicine.
Dr. Goebel is board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, with a subspecialty of sports medicine, and is also a certified public accountant, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He has been active in research and authored numerous presentations and papers. In addition, Dr. Goebel is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
