John Galligan, MD
Board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. John Galligan specializes in foot and ankle surgery. His medical education and training includes a medical degree and general surgery internship from Creighton University School of Medicine, an orthopaedic residency at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research (FOARR) in Houston. He joined NebOrtho in 2009 after spending several years as part of another orthopaedic surgery practice.
He has served as first aid stand physician for the Kansas City Royals baseball, physician management for the Houston Rockets and assisted with physician management for Rice University athletics. Throughout his training, Dr. Galligan received several awards and contributed to various publications and research. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Organization of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
