James T. Canedy, MD, FACHE
While he specializes in partial and total joint replacements and fracture care, Dr. James Canedy performs all types of orthopaedics. Board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, he received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic, University of Tennessee College of Health Sciences.
In addition to NebOrtho, he is actively involved with various boards and organizations including, board member for the Nebraska Medical Center, board chair for the Clarkson College Board of Trustees, president of SimplyWell and Paramount Group, and a board member for Physicians Mutual. Dr. Canedy also serves as associate professor of orthopaedic surgery for UNMC and as director of orthopedic training for the Clarkson Family residency program. He has been recognized with numerous awards including being named among the Best Doctors in America for several consecutive years.
