Charles F. Burt, MD

Board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Charles Burt has sub-specialty certification in sports medicine, with special interest in hip problems in young patients and extensive experience in hip arthroscopy. He graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed post-graduate training with a sports medicine fellowship at North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Australia, an orthopaedic residency and general internship with the Creighton-Nebraska Universities Health Foundation.

A former college athlete, he serves as head team physician for the Omaha Nighthawks UFL football team and has also been engaged in a similar capacity for Millard North High School, Skutt Catholic High School. Dr. Burt was also a member of the Nebraska Medical Center Sports Medicine Team and Jennie Edmundson Hospital Sports Medicine Team. He is a founding member of the Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital physician ownership group and remains board chairman and a finance committee member.
