Matthew Metschke PA C

A Snyder, Neb. native, Matt Metschke attended the University of
Nebraska-Omaha where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology before
completing his Master of Science in physician assistant studies degree
(MPAS) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is certified by
the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)
and the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants (NAPA). Metschke joined
NebOrtho in 2001.

Sonya Wemhoff PA C

Originally from Columbus, Neb., Sonya Wemhoff attended Midland Lutheran
College, where she participated in basketball and athletic training
programs. She received a master’s in exercise science from the
University of Nebraska-Omaha and worked as part of the Jennie Edmundson
Sports Medicine Team before completing a Master of Science in physician
assistant studies (MPAS) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center
in Omaha. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification
of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and the Board of Certification (BOC),
the only accredited certification program for athletic trainers. In
addition, she is a volunteer for Justin Sports Medicine, covering the
PRCA Rodeo.

Natashia Korus PA C

A graduate of Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
exercise science, Natashia Korus completed her Master of Science in
physician assistant studies (MPAS) at the University of St. Francis in
Joliet, Ill. She is certified by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the
American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Physician Assistants
in Orthopaedic Surgery. Korus joined NebOrtho in 2009.

A Blair, Neb. native, Melissa Hall earned her bachelor’s degree in
nutrition and exercise science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
and a Master of Science in physician assistant studies (MPAS) from the
University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She is certified by the
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Hall joined NebOrtho in 2010.

 A Columbus, Neb. native, Abbie Leischner earned a bachelor’s degree in
Spanish, with minors in both biology and chemistry from Nebraska
Wesleyan University. She received a Masters of Science in physician
assistant studies (MPAS) from Union College in Lincoln and is certified
by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA). She is a member of the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants
(NAPA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and
Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery. Leischner joined NebOrtho

A Clarinda, Iowa native, Amanda Bond received a bachelor’s degree in
psychology from Iowa State University in Ames. She then earned a Master
of Science in physician assistant studies (MPAS) from the University of
Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She is certified by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants), the NAPA (Nebraska Academy of PAs), and the PAOS (Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery). Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from ISU and with a Certificate of Academic Excellence from UNMC.

 A native of Crete, Neb., Susan Wollenburg received a bachelor’s degree
in general studies, with a certificate in gerontology, from the
University of Nebraska-Omaha. She attended the University of Nebraska
Medical Center where she earned a Master of Science in physician
assistant studies. She is certified by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Wollenburg joined
NebOrtho in 2011.
